As a parent, you’re likely to be familiar with Tonies – the interactive storytelling device designed for kids.
Our primary goal was to support the ‘Tonies for Teachers’ team in their mission to introduce these devices as educational aids in classrooms. This was an exciting and challenging project that required careful planning, coordination, and execution to ensure its success.
During the pre-production phase, we spent a considerable amount of time researching Tonies and their features to gain a better understanding of how they worked. We also worked closely with the ‘Tonies for Teachers’ team to understand their specific needs and expectations for the shoot. To ensure we were fully prepared for production, we created a comprehensive storyboard, which included detailed shot lists and notes on the overall look and feel we wanted to achieve.
The shoot was taking place at a local school, close to our HQ. We had a full crew on hand, including a director, camera operators and sound technicians. It was an exciting opportunity to try out some new equipment like the Easyrig Vario 5 to capture the shots we needed.
As we set up the scenes, we carefully placed the props and lighting to create the right atmosphere and set the tone for the story. We made sure that everything was in place to ensure a seamless production. Crowd control was also an essential factor as we had a group of excited children wanting to be on camera! Our team ensured that the children were comfortable and directed them to perform their best.
During filming, we followed the storyboard closely, making sure that we captured all the necessary shots while maintaining a good flow of the story. The director worked closely with the actors, guiding them to deliver the best possible performance. We also worked closely with the ‘Tonies for Teachers’ team, ensuring that we captured the devices in the best light and showcased their features.
This was a really exciting, but challenging project that required careful planning, coordination, and execution to ensure its success. With the combined efforts of our team and working in collaboration with Tonies, we were able to create a captivating and engaging video that showcased.
