We worked with the wonderful events team at Gardner Leader again to capture their International Women’s Day event, this time at Somerville College in Oxford.

Events like this are a brilliant opportunity to capture key messages, showcase the people behind the business, and create content that carries well beyond the day itself.

The event brings together businesses from across Oxfordshire and beyond, with a mix of speakers, panels, and conversations happening throughout the day. Our job was to capture that clearly, and turn it into content that Gardner Leader could continue to use across their internal and external channels.

APPROACH

In the main room, we filmed the the speakers and panel discussions, alongside a roaming camera picking up audience reactions and the general feel of the space as things unfolded.

We also set up a dedicated interview room to capture separate interviews with the Gardner Leader team, and speakers on stage. That gave us a quiet, controlled space for interviews with clean sound and consistent lighting, without pulling focus away from the event itself.

Alongside that, we captured vox pops with attendees, giving us a wider mix of voices and genuine reactions that helped bring energy into the final highlights edit.

Outside of the talks and interviews, we made sure to capture the smaller details that bring everything together, including the beautiful venue that is Somerville College.

After the event, we moved straight into post-production to create:

  • A next day event teaser video

  • A polished highlights film

  • Short-form edits for social

  • Clear, punchy speaker soundbites

  • A versatile bank of photography

All ready for Gardner Leader to use across their social channels, website, and internal comms.
