Gardner Leader invited MOTION3 to capture their International Women’s Day event in Oxford. The brief was to create content that felt energetic and genuinely reflective of the conversations happening in the room. The event brought together voices from Gardner Leader, Gravita, and CAMFED, with a strong focus on their key message: accelerating action for women.

Our work documented the atmosphere, keynote speakers, networking moments, and the wider purpose behind the event.

APPROACH

We designed a clear filming plan that let us cover the full event without creating any disruption. In the main room, we had a multi-camera setup to follow the speakers, the panel discussions, as well as a roaming b-roll camera to capture audience reactions.

We set up a dedicated interview room for the planned interviews with Gardner Leader staff. This gave us a quiet, controlled space with reliable sound and lighting without disrupting the event. We also captured vox pops from attendees, and we filmed these in the networking area. The aim was to capture the energy of the room and get honest reactions while people were still engaged with the event. Working in that environment also gave the final edits more life and a sense of momentum.

Beyond the talks and interviews, we filmed the details that show what the event was like. Lady Margaret Hall is a strong venue visually, so we made sure to capture the space and the conversations happening around the room to help round out the story.

After the event, we moved straight into post-production to create:

  • Event highlights video
  • Next-day teaser (for socials)
  • Full speaker coverage
  • 12 x Vox pop videos
  • Branded motion graphics

All ready for Gardner Leader to use across their social channels, website, and internal comms.
