Worcester College’s Massada Annual Lecture is a high-profile annual event that brings a leading thinker to Oxford for a public lecture on significant contemporary questions. For the 2026 lecture, delivered by the historian and author Fania Oz-Salzberger at the College’s Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre, Worcester turned to MOTION3 as a trusted supplier to capture the evening properly — a polished, discreet film that gives the lecture a lasting home online for students, alumni and a wider public audience. It was a sensitive occasion, and one the College trusted us to handle with the care it deserved.
APPROACH
A lecture like this calls for discretion as much as production value, so we worked unobtrusively — capturing the evening faithfully without intruding on speaker or audience. The room had no event AV of its own, so we supplied and ran it as well as filming: two speakers, a mixing desk, and lectern and audience microphones, so the lecture sounded as good in the room as it does on screen, and gave us a clean, mixed feed straight into the camera. Working single-crew inside the Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre, we filmed the full lecture with considered framing, then shaped it in the edit into a composed, watchable film. In its first month online it passed 2,500 views — reinforcing MOTION3 as a supplier Oxford colleges can trust with their most significant public occasions.
